Being able to eat hot food on a mountaintop is a blessing.

Guanyuan Gas Station is located along the Central Cross Island Highway. It is often used by people going to Hehuan Mountain. As there are no other stores in the vicinity, employees proposed selling zongzi seven years ago. The dish became very popular, and some people even make special trips to the gas station just to eat them.

You can taste the meat stock in every single grain of rice. It warms you up when you eat it during cold days.

One zongzi costs NT$35, and the filling is made from meat and shitake mushrooms. Sushi rice is used for the outside instead of glutinous rice. The gas station sells 100 to 120 of them on an average day, which is a lot more than the 50 or so vehicles that come to fill up their tanks on an average day. The gas station recently reopened after a five-month renovation, and intends to continue serving as a relay station.

Guanyuan Gas Station was finally renovated for the first time after 32 years of being exposed to the elements. We also wanted to provide visitors with greater and better service.

The gas station was given a facelift, although its zongzi did not undergo any changes and will continue to warm the stomachs and hearts of motorists and tourists.



從電鍋裡拿出熱騰騰的肉粽，在海拔2374公尺的關原加油站，地處偏遠溫度又低，這顆"雲端肉粽"，就成了旅人最溫暖的慰藉。

騎士表示：「因為在高山上面，能吃到熱的東西，是很幸福的事情。」

關原加油站位在臺八線中橫公路上，是來往合歡山其中一條熱門路線，由於方圓數百公尺內幾乎沒有店家，因此七年前在員工的建議下，開始賣起肉粽，沒想到大受遊客的歡迎，還有不少人是專程慕名而來。

遊客表示：「每一粒米，好像都有吃到肉汁的香，天氣很冷要吃這個，好溫暖。」

吃完忍不住比出大拇指，一顆35元的雲端肉粽，內餡有肉有香菇，也用壽司米取代糯米，每天平均可以賣100到120顆，比一天平均只有五十車次加油還要多上許多，整修完成的關原加油站，也要繼續當遊客最佳中繼站。

中油關原加油站站長 李詅表示：「經過很多風雨無阻，這樣好不容易，把32年從未整修過的關原加油站，整修成新容貌，然後也要為了要給遊客，更多的更好的服務品質。」

32年的老加油站外觀變得嶄新，不變的是雲端肉粽會繼續飄香，餵飽旅人的胃也溫暖他們的心。
